Configure, install, and maintain mostly Unix/Linux computer systems in a stand-alone and networked environment. Research complex software and hardware before installation. Perform and analyze weekly security audits for nonstandard events. Implement backup solution and ensure a cohesive disaster recovery plan. Manage IAVA process for group utilizing complex Perl and VBA scripts.
Lock down Unix/Linux/Windows computer in a mixed environment based upon classified security requirements. Manage user accounts for Unix/Linux/Windows, reset passwords, and perform annual computer recertification. Develop and maintain System Security Plans (SSPs) for multiple facilities to ensure compliance with government sponsors.

Requirements |
Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, related field or equivalent experience. Minimum 5 years Unix/Linux systems administration experience, along with a minimum of 3 years IA experience ensuring system availability, integrity, authentication, and confidentiality. A minimum of 2 years information technology experience working in a classified computer facility in information, intelligence, or security areas. Extensive knowledge of computer operating systems, hardware, and software. Experience with Perl, VBA or other programming/scripting languages. Excellent organizational and communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with managers and technical staff.
Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a Government security investigation and must meet the eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Eligibility requirements include US citizenship. Future needs may require the ability to be eligible for DOD clearance requiring background investigation and/or Polygraph examination. Preference would be for current SSBI.
Desired: Some Windows computer experience. Experience with VMware or other virtualization software. Working familiarity with National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), Director of Central Intelligence Directives (DCID) or Intelligence Community Directives (ICD) security requirements.
